Marketing Fusion is where teamwork matters. We’re a people-first company, focusing on the satisfaction and well-being of our small, close-knit group. We seek out the most creative, genuine, collaborative people and invest in them; creating a supportive environment that enables them to thrive.
We’re a B2B content agency, specialising in storytelling and connection creation for technology companies. We believe in flexibility, work/life balance, inclusivity, and working together toward a common goal.
Some of us are based at home, in various locations across the UK; some of us attend our office in Swallowfield, near Reading. But wherever we’re working, we’re always an equal part of the team. We like one another, we have a lot of fun and we love welcoming new people to our tribe.
After 18 months of working remotely, and having added 8 new family members during that time, we were able to hold our annual team offsite at The Grange on 8th August 2021. It was inspiring to be together, to learn more about each other and to refocus on our shared values, vision and what makes our team so special - being the Marketing Fusion Family.
Christmas 2019: What better way to celebrate the festive season than with a team lunch at our favourite local restaurant!
Summer 2020: We like to have fun with our Fusion Family, and little did we know but we had a true artist in our midsts! Here's a snap from our Creative Art session.
Christmas 2020: With a UK lockdown in full force - we decided to hone our creative skills and take part in a Zoom Chocolate Truffle Making session!
Our values are at the heart of everything we do, not just a poster on the wall. We worked together to define them, thinking deeply about what was important to us as a team, and to our clients. We live them every day, holding ourselves accountable for upholding them and ensuring they inform the way we work and interact as a team. We believe our values help to ground us, unite us and support us to be the best we can, to understand what is expected of us and what we can expect from one another. Our values ensure we exceed our clients’ expectations. Using our integrity and excellence, we are proud to have robust, trusted relationships with our clients and continuously seek to inspire and delight.
“We usually start the day with a team call – we take it in turns to host it and there’s often a very silly question to answer. Today’s is ‘what’s been your worst injury to date?!’ After the call, I pop into the garden with my dog, Boo, then make a cup of tea to power me through the first hour or two of the day. I have some amends to make on a blog post, so I crack on with that, whilst I discuss opinions on the latest episode of Drag Race with my colleague, Cleo. I work entirely remotely, but I love chatting to the team on Zoom and Teams throughout the day – it makes me feel really connected. I’m taking an earlier lunch today to view a house and walk Boo – I enjoy the flexibility to move things around a bit. This afternoon, I’m working on some web copy for a brand transformation – they’re always exciting projects – then we have a company training session at 2pm all about using LinkedIn more effectively. I send my web copy off for approval then, before I know it, it’s 5.30pm and I’m saying goodnight to the team – where does the day go?!”

Empathy is one of our core principles. Being able to put yourself in someone else’s shoes, as well as being able to recognise and understand situations that people are going through both inside and outside of work is a key component of this principle. We want our staff to see things from another perspective and be there to help and support each other, so we equip them with the knowledge and training to allow them to do that. As a business, we put a really big emphasis on mental health and wellbeing, and part of this is raising funds and providing support for the mental health charity Mind.
Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone suffering with any kind of mental health issue. The charity campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. Mind won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.
