Long stints both in agency and client side have given me a broad perspective on technology marketing, and some hands-on experience of running a sales team too! I love that our approach combines the latest digital techniques with tried and tested approaches to drive success for our clients.
Currently trying to overcome a compulsive tendency to volunteer for things I don’t have time for – got to love those committees!
I am responsible for the delivery of several of our inbound services and for ensuring the business runs smoothly. My background is rooted deep in international B2B technology marketing. I have a passion for marketing and for delivering exactly what’s needed to help your business grow.
Outside of work you’ll find me at a meeting with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, baking sourdough or cakes, working out or cycling. I like to be busy!
I’ve worked for agencies since the year dot and I love it. It’s the buzz, rising to a new challenge and generating ideas – but, hitting the deadlines, no matter how tight they are. No two days are ever the same whether I’m working with venture capital start-ups, EMEA or worldwide marketing teams. The real pay-off is seeing campaigns deliver results, businesses grow and clients progress.
And, when I’m not here, I’m knee deep in an oily engine, putting it back together one bolt at a time! Can anyone tell me why there’s always one spare bolt leftover?
Time has flown by since I joined in November 2016 and having worked in the same big corporation for many years before that, I enjoy the freedom, variation and creative atmosphere that agency life brings. My favourite part of the job is working closely with our clients and bringing fresh ideas to the table. It’s great when I feel like an extended member of their marketing teams!
Out of the office, my hobby is turning old and unwanted plates into gorgeous vintage cake stands. I am pretty good with a drill and have only broken a few!
I’ve enjoyed a long and varied career as a journalist, including working as editor on several B2B technology magazines in London and Sydney. Unsurprisingly, I love creating impactful stories that draw a reader in. As the office word wizard, there is nothing I enjoy more than getting my teeth stuck into a really tricky bit of information or messaging and making it work for the client. Outside of work, I’m mostly found organising my three young children’s busy social lives and sleeping in front of Netflix.
I’m a graphic designer and keen photographer, so complement the team with visual creativity. I’m at my happiest when I’m coming up with new designs or editing graphics for a client project in Adobe Creative Suite.
I love raiding the cookie jar at the office, especially when someone’s baked for the team. Otherwise, I’m the quiet one in the corner…
I have spent 25 years working in a variety of businesses, from some of the biggest corporates to start ups, in a broad range of industries including Telco’s, IT/Software, MedTech and Professional Services – I even worked for 4 months in a prison. My key skill in life is making things happen. I love coming up with a great plan, am obsessed by needing to know details and revel in making order out of chaos.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me either out with my family with our walking boots on, with my nose in a book or chilling out, with a glass of wine, catching up with friends!
Armed with a degree in Graphic Design: New Media, I have gained a wide range of experience in a variety of industries in a relatively short space of time. It’s included managing all aspects of marketing and design in the hospitality industry, from bespoke proposals through to designing large scale exhibition events and exploring my creative passion at a specialist design agency.
I’m very excited to be a part of this new chapter here at Marketing Fusion. I enjoy a team environment and I’m keen to share and build ideas, work with international brands and support Marketing Fusion’s Brand Development.
Steve delivers content that packs a punch. He understands the complexities of writing for technology companies how to make the complex seem simple.
Doug lives for great design. He’ll tell you it’s not just about the logo, Pantone and font, but about finding the right design for the right medium to deliver the perfect package of content.
Power pivots and v-lookups, merging and de-duping are all grist to Sandra’s mill. She loves the D-word and we love her all the more for it.
Stuart’s skills and knowledge of the tech sector have helped him to become content creator extraordinaire. Knowing just what’s needed and how to put it together is his stock in trade.
Max joins conference calls, has his say when someone knocks at the door and rests his head helpfully on the knees of unsuspecting clients. As our fitness guru – he is always ready willing to take a turn around the park.
